LSMW-Batch input method-equipment description not taking from upload file

Hi,

We developed an LSMW with batch input method for creation of equipments.

All the steps went through smoothly; Howver , on chekcing the equipment master cretaed , we found that the description of equipment is filled with the text which we gave during recording step and not the text we gave for equipment descrption from the upload file.

Field mapping is correctly done.

Similarly , other text fields such manufacturer text , part number and serial number are taking from the text we gave at the time of recording and not from upload file.

All other fields are filled correctly from upload file except of the above text fields.

What could be wrong ?

Appreciate any help in this regard to figure out what could be wrong.

Hi

check the default value in the text field, execute maintain attributes,click on recording overview, click on display recording, click on the equipment description field SHTXT a pop up will appear in that you can see the default description entered remove that and save. at the same time also check the structure relations and the field mapping.
