Issue with MDIS

Hi,

I m trying to import the data using MDIS,however all the files are going to Structural exception.

When I try to open the same file manually using import manager ,It is ready to import.

When I import this file manually,some of the tuples data is blank which should not be ideally.

If someone can let me know what can be the the cause of this.

Hi,

Have you checked the logs for cause of structural exception?

Please check them.

Hi,

The logs mentions Unknown Exception

I have also checked the tuple update options they are fine.

Any other solutions?

Hi Nisha

Please check for the following-

1. Field type defined in the schema and values coming from the file.

2. If any of the values for field is falling beyond the limit as defined in the schema.

genrally structural exception only comes when your source file differ from xsd which u assign in inbound port,just check the ports option in MDM console which remote system map and XSD file assign

for updating tuple data check in import manager configuration option what setting you have set

1. Matching tuple fields

2. New records option

3. Existing Records option
