Prevent GR with the delivery complete indicator set

Dear friends,

During GR reference to PO, if goods are received partially and the delivery complete indicator is set, the PO line item is deemed to be closed.

However, if reference is made again to the same PO line item, GR can still be done to the item that delivery complete indicator was set.(due to there is still quantity to be received)

Is there anyway, we could prevent reference to be made to a PO line item that has delivery complete indicator set?

Hi

If Delivery Completed Indicator is set in PO ,then also we can do the GR agains that purchase order.

This is possible because there is some quantity open in that Purchase Order.

This open quantity is not considerd while MRP run & technically it is a Closed PO.

If we are doing GR against that PO ,then system allows it though it is technically closed PO but because of open quantity in PO.

SAP suggests that although delivery completed indicator is set ,the PO is still open .Because there may be possibility of Goods Receipt agianst that PO.Therefore if u have to prevent the same either u have to change the PO Quantity equal to GR quantity or U have to do the GR against the new PO.
