Upgrade from Solution Manager SAPKB70016 w/o JAVA to EHP1 with JAVA

Hello Experts

I have following issue. On solution manager we are planing the upgrade from SAPKB70016to EHP1. The problem is we do not have JAVA Stack and for EHP1, as I know, the JAVA Stack is obligatory.

How can we do it? Can we install JAVA Stack to the existing ABAP Stack or should we install the new solution manager EHP1 with JAVA and at the end the content copy from the old one?

Please help.

So I found the solution:

The best and quickest one is to install the new solution manager.

Teh other possibilty needs following steps:

1. Unicode conversion

2. JAVA instalation

3. Upgrade on both stack

but it is a very diffricult project.
