Adding additional CUP request fields

Hi,

Is it possible to add additional fields to a request form other than the fields listed in CUP -> Configuration -> Request Form Customisation? I would like to maintain cost center on my request form and it does not seem to be listed in the list on Request Form Customisation.

Your help is much appreciated.

Hello Muhammad,

You can add custom fields by creating the same in CUP Configuration -> Custom Fields. The fields you create here will be visible in the request form for the user to fill in addition to the standard fields . You can take a look at the AC configuration guide for information on how to create custom fields.

Just a word of caution - please make sure you know what you're doing: after you have created a custom field and used it in a request, there's no way of deleting it again, or getting it off of your request form easily!
