CI AND DI

Dear gurus,

I am planning to install dialogue installation

My CI is in ibm power series and the DI which i am planning to install is LINUX X86_64.

i have a small doubt whether both the os should be same, is it any prequisite like this

please calrify me

Hello,

Main think will be to keep the kernel, transport and profile direcories apart from the CI

reply from Henk is correct.

I was looking for some online material to substantiate this but could only find this thread:

Proof enough that Central Instance and Dialog Instance on different operating systems do exist in real life.

Hi Hari,

The DI can be installed on a different kind of OS, without a problem. It doesn't have to be the same OS as the CI is on.
