assigning multiple st.loc to single warehouse

hi ,

i need what are the difficulties are facing when we assigning multiple storage location to single warehouse....under single plant.

can we mention plant , st.loc in tr,to and posting changes, stock transfer if so where i need to configure....

regarding inventory (stock) any issues will arise ...please kindly let me know.

Hi,

This is standard SAP supported functionality. You will not encounter any problems in inventory maintenance/tracking eventhough you assinged multiple Slocs of same plant to one warehouse. If you look at Quant data(LS23), it stores Plant, Sloc and Warehouse number, this ensures tracking of inventory belonging to multiple sloc in the same warehouse.
