SMTP configuration

Hello everybody,

I am trying to configure SMTP for sending mail from SAP.

For this is had done

Profile paramter

is/SMTP/virt_host_0 *:25000

is/SMTP/virt_host_1 *:25001

icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$

icm/server_port_1 PROT=HTTPS,PORT=1443

icm/server_port_2 PROT=SMTP,PORT=25000,TIMEOUT=180

icm/plugin_0 PROT=HTTP

icm/plugin_1 PROT=HTTPS

icm/plugin_2 PROT=SMTP

In SICF

Virtual Hosts :- SAPconnect

in Hos Data tab :-

Profile parameter NO : 0 (Parameter is/SMTP/virtual_host_#)

Host configuration

*:25000

Logon Data : - MAILSYS (user type-system)

Handler List :-CL_SMTP_EXT_SAPCONNECT

in SCOT

I had configure the domain, Mail Host, Mail port = 25.

At internet * for Address area

After that, schedule the Job which is freq. 5 Min,

But when i send the mail from SAP, generate the error

Cannot process message in SAP System

So please suggest me how to solve the same.

Add one more port in profile paramter icm/server_port_<*>_ PROT

Hi,

Also you can go to transaction SMICM and check in services if all the required aervices are active.

Also in SCOT please make sure that the SMTP node in use check box is ticked.

Hi,

Is the SMTP port enabled between SAP and mail server. Kindly talk with your Mail server admin about enabling the ports.
