development server shows ora-1000,maximum open cursors exceeded

hi Expects,

here i need your answers please,

now in my server ,system logs(sm21) shows more errors

error text is ''Ora-1000:maximum open cursors exceeded''

system log message is:

access to the database system has returned an sql code indicating that the operation could not perform ed correctly by the database system this system log entry shows the database text for the sql error that has occurred it supplements the preceding system log entry ,which shows the sql code ,the table name and the sql function where the error has occurred

what can i do for this?

Change parameter open_cursors in initSID.ora.

by this problem we can get any effects and (i didnot get frequently )

change means can i increase value (init.ora)
