The "backint" programm from the 3rd party backup tool is exiting with a segmentation fault. You may check the event log for further information.

Hi HK

Did you edit init<SID>.sap file? what is the value of backup_dev_type ? can you change it to "util_file" or "util_file_online"

Hi
The log file is used by BRBackup for verification and needs to be in the
location specified. If you have backed up and removed the contents of
/oracle/SHP/sapbackup you need to put back the backSHP.log file
check if file /oracle/SHP/sapbackup/backSHP.log exists
if it exists, change permissions on it.
if it does not exist, go get it from the original server.

Shan
