Maitining E Mail templates in IDM

Hi,

Can any one tell us how to maintain email templates in sap netweaver idm systems.?

Also need to maintain TO and CC fields . ?

Hello.

There are plenty of options available. In files, a database table or even an own entry type.

The same applies to the receivers. Depending on the use case, it could be best to store them in a separate database table.

There is no overall solution, you have to consider your situation and implement as needed.

Hi Surya,

Domink is correct and there are many methods for maintaining email templates. I've found that maintaining them as files has made maintenance easier (as opposed to in a script, etc.) The template can be accessed by the task by defining the file-path in the MESSAGEFILE attribute.
