Compatibility of EP5.0 & BI 3.5 with ECC6.0

Hi All

We are in planing stage to upgrade from R/3 4.7 Enterprise to ECC6.0. We have BI 3.5 and EP 5.0 currently installed and configured to use ESS/MSS functionality.

I have a small query

1. Are BI 3.5 & EP5.0 compatible with ECC6.0 or will they also require an upgrade.

BW 3.5 as well as EP 5.0 are out of support already (since end of march 2010).

Technically it might work, just be aware that you need to convert the 4.7 system to Unicode if not already done to connect a portal to it (Note 975768 - Deprecation of Java features with non-Unicode Backend).
