Netweaver PI 7.1 Support Pack Stack error in stack.xml

When generating the stack XML file for an upgrade to Netweaver PI 7.1 SPS

10,the stack.xml file contains an incorrect sp-stack caption. The

incorrect caption is "<sp-stack><caption>10 (05/2010)</caption>". The

correct caption is "<sp-stack><caption>SAP NETWEAVER PI 7.1 - 10

(05/2010)</caption>".

Unless the caption is corrected manually, the SPS upgrade process fails

with this error "[Error]: The format of the CAPTION tag in the SP-STACK

tag is invalid."

Steps for Reconstruction

1. http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks

2. SP Stack Download

3. SP Stack SAP NetWeaver Process Integration 7.1

4. Start SP Pack: SAP NETWEAVER PI 7.1 - SPS 08 (06/2009)

5. Target SP Pack: SAP NETWEAVER PI 7.1 - SPS 10 (05/2010)

6. Select these components:

a. Application Server ABAP

b. Process Integration

c. Application Server Java

7. Next Step

8. Next Step (not necessary to select any components to replicate error)

9. Generate Stack XML

10. save file as "stack.xml"

11. open the file and view the caption starting with <sp-stack><caption>

Yes, with a workaround. Edit stack.xml and use the correct caption as shown in my original post for the sp-stack tag.
