Hello everyone,
I would like to know whats the best way to analyze the livecache issue. we had our livecache server (stand alone)shut down and I am trying to find the root cause. Can anyone tell me whats the best place to look for which will tell me what type of processses were running or users etc..at the time of crash. In LC10...i tried to look at bottleneck analysis...but it does not show any data. Is there a reason why the funcitionality is not working? the bottle neck analysis is turned on. If anyone could tell me what log/files in OS level thes information could be found or in LC10 that will be great. If it is due to memory/load issues how can i analyze this type of cause? any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Depending on which version you use you might check
/sapdb/data/wrk/<SID>/knldiag (7.5, 7.6) or /sapdb/data/wrk/<SID>/KnlMsg (7.7, 7.8). The latter one can be viewed by executing "protconv" in the directory.
