Block upon stock plcmt - WM S Type Config

In the WM S type config there is a checkbox for "Block upon stock plcmt" with options to block the entire bin or block the quant.

( WM - Master Data-Define S Type)

I activated this for S type 999 ( differences) ...

However, it dosent seem to be working ...when stock is placed in 999..it still in unrestricted status.

Is there anything that I am missing ?

Hi,

The option you have selected does not put the stock into blocked status. It blocks the Quant/Storage bin until the putaway TO is confirmed. Until then, there is no stock movements possible concerning the quant/bin.

I think you simply misunderstand the function of T3010-SPEIN...

It has nothing to do with blocked stock type in inventory management (how could it mean blocked stock type if it doeasn't triggger IM posting and also possible to set "1" for T3010-SPEIN which means you block the bin...)...please check the fields in table LQUA...you will find several blocking fields...

LQUA-SKZSE should be updated if T3010-SPEIN='2"...
