How to change deemed Number of columns in Spool Request Attributes

Former Member

Hello,

I have the following issue. My remote user prints to her local printer from ME2O. We need to have Spool Request Settings in such way that Format is X_65_132, Number of rows is 58 and Number of columns is 132 or less.

I can change Number of rows and I can set Format, but number of columns comes up deemed and 142. Somehow between Properties and Specifications I can make it editable and change it to 132. But when I quit transaction and then come back again, the value is 142 and deemed again.

How to make it work?

Thanks

Galina

You can try this way but it will by default set to the all the users for this tcode.

When you give a print, it pops up the print screen list.

Key in the remote printer name annd select the properties

now double click on format, in the bottom you can see the all formats(select the format X_65_132)

now click on specifications,in the validity choose "valid for this report only" and select copy settings.

Now it should show the format set default for this report.

After that select the green tick mark and come out of the printer specification.

Now ask the remote user or you send a print request and see the default format is set to X_65_132 for this tcode.

Let us know if you have any issue.
