ATP check at delivery level is taking into account stock in S type 999

ATP check at delivery level is taking into account stock in S type 999.

Delivery is getting created as ATP is looking at stock in S type 999.

Is there a way we can exclude all WM interim storage types from ATP &

MRP ?

As it is already specified that ATP is independent of the WM bins, you can't restrict the availability at WM level. However, there is a workaround you could use to map your requirement.

Create a new Sloc XXXX in the plant and assign it to a new MRP area, so that any demand or requirement in this Sloc is not nettable and the requirement doesn't flow to your existing MRP area. Now, in the Interfaces section of the WM configuration in Stor. Location Control in Warehouse Mgmt, you can assign storage type 999 to your plant and new Sloc XXXX with movement type 311. What this will do is automatically do an IM 311 mvt and move the stock to XXXX when anything is placed in 999 storage type. As XXXX belongs to a different MRP area, ATP won't consider this stock.

If you don't want to create another MRP area, you could change the stock category of the stock in Sloc XXXX through a background job of tcode LQ02 by creating a custom movement type in Define Posting Changes in the Interfaces section of WM config.

I think storage location MRP is much more simple solution for this than MRP area (it is also possible they don't use MRP area at all). Without any config it can be set on MRP4 view of material master for all related materials.

I guess there are several threads about these setting also...

Why dion't you search for answer before you post a thread?

Several times it has been discussed on this forum that availability check has NOTHING to do with WM (in standard system).
