DB12 backup error

Hi,

I am checking last successful backup by using BD12 T-code, i am getting error log as

BR0252E Function stat () failed for 'backup/bedodtqd/sr3.data1.z' at location BrFilestatGet-1

BR0252E errno 116:stale NFS file handle

BR0273E Determination of file status for / backup / bedodtqd/sr3.data1.z failed

Hi,

I assume, in init<SID>.sap backup destination is mentioned correctly (in log it shows directory path "backup" without "/" )

check if ora<SID> user has permission to read/write for /backup folder.

Change ownership of "/backup" folder as ora<sid>:sapsys

Also check the permissions of brtools as per the following note.

As the log information states there seems to be a problem with your NFS mount for the /backup directory. Either check it yourself if you have access or ask your OS support to do so. Right now the access to the backup files is not possible.
