Hi Experts,
I have installed SAPConsole 710 in Windows Server 2008R2 but after Installation is completed the Sap Console Administrator in Control Panel does not appear.
I found this note 1383873 and it says:
Supported Server Operating Systems:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (32-bit) - as of patchlevel 7 of WebSAPConsole 7.10
Currently SAP does not support 64-bit versions of SAP Console. But it is possible to run 32-bit executables within 64-Bit Windows system environments.
Any Clue?
Regards.
Hello Jorge
the note 1383873 have nothing to do with the Sapconsole or Websapconsole!
The note 1043241 is the right one!
Please look at you file system in the folder
c:\windows\system32
if there is a file named profile.cpl
This is the file for the sapconsole administrator.
You can try the solutions of the old note 1014789 to solve this problem.
Best regards,
Sven

Hi Jorge,
the question is : why is the file not installed during the installation process...
Please check the logfile of the sapconsole installation if an error was occured.
You find the logs in the "LOGS" folder on your workstation in
c:\program files\sap\sapsetup\logs...
Also the self extracting exe file of the Sapconsole rites an log file like
sapconsole710_10-20002498.log.
There you look and search for the file Profile.cpl
which error messages did you recieved during the installation?
Best regards, Sven

Hi Sven,
The thing is that I used the profile.cpl and it`s working but in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\Ofek\SapConsole does not exists! as should be... any clue?
When I start the url http://<host>:<port>/sap/isapi_sapcnsl.dll it shows conection to R/3 broken.
Regards.
I too have just installed SAPConsole 710 on x64 Windows 2008 R2 and do not see the SAPConsole Administrator in the Control Panel. There is a Profile.cpl in c:\windows\sysWOW64 and a registry key exists in HKLM\software\wow6432node\SAP\Ofek\SapConsole.
How does one run the SAPConsole Administrator?
