Error in JSM - workcenter

Hi,

In the SOLMAN work center, when I try to create a new job request, in the scheduling tab - I get an error as follows :

"Error calling external job definitions of scheduler. Message from CPS: User not authorized".

What kind of security setting is needed to resolve this?

Check if your user have these roles in UME.

scheduler-viewer or scheduler-view

Just to make a test. Did you try this role scheduler-administrator ?

I found this security guide with the necessary configuration.

Hi Mateus,

Yes, I have the 'scheduler-administrator' role as well. I've looked in the security guide but unable to find out what is causing the problem.

Hello Esha,

logon to SAP CPS with the relevant user at least once and perform the steps mentioned in SAP note 1265635.

Please check that in transaction SU01 no alias is assigned to your user (see SAP note 1414492)

In SAP CPS, assign authorization for BAE API to your user (see SAP note 1265635)
