Relation between Customer Master & Business Partner

Hi SD Gurus,

I need to resolve the following issue:

I have created Customer Master and when i came to BUP2 to change the business Partner credit limit.I,m getting the following error "0 business partner found"

1.Kindly let me know what is the link between customer Master and Business partner?

2.When you create a customer master record?does BP record also created with same name?

3.Can the number for Customer Master and BP master be different?

4.Did i miss any link after i created customer Master

5.Can you pls tell what config do i need to perform?

Hi

Business partners are any parties who have interest in business with your company

Business partners can be any of these

SOLD TO

SHIP TO

PAYER

BILL TO

You will create a customer as Business partner
