Maintenance of product number in external catalog

Is there any possibility for maintaining the product number in external catalogue?

Hi,

I guess External catalog means External Supplier Catalog.

Product Master code is defined in Buyer side. Suppliers have never know the product master code.

External Supplier Catalog has Supplier Parts Number. If buyer side maintains product master with supplier parts number, you can map supplier parts number to your product master in the BADI.

If buyer has big buying power, they can ask supplier to put product master in the supplier catalog.

Hi Ashok,

You can maintain UNSPSC number alon with Product Number in your system. So when external catalog item transfer to you system, SRM will check the UNSPSC number and the convert it to your Product Number and pass it to SC.
