Parallel run for 3.5 and 7.0 objects

Hi Friends,

We have a DSO "A" that is getting data from 2LIS_02_SCL through 3.5 architecture. The delta is set through infopackage and running fine. For some reason we have decided to go for new DSO "B" and feed it from 2LIS_02_SCL through 7.0 architecture. I have created DSO, Transformations, DTP. My question is how to initialize and load data into the new DSO "B" keeping the current flow of delta into DSO "A" unaltered?

Thanks,

Balaraj

Hi,

You have 3.5 data flow for 2LIS_02_SCL and delta records are getiing loaded everyday.

Now over 3.5 data source you have created 7.0 data flow (using transformation and DTP).

Right click on the data source -> manage -> keep 'request newer than' blank and refresh.

You can see all the PSA request. If you have init request followed by delta.

then it is no problem..after creating DTP> give extraction mode of DTP as full>check 'get all new data request by request'.

All the records of 2LIS_02_SCL will be loaded to new DSO.

No need to make any changes in delta infopackage, because the newly created DTP will update every day delta request.

If all the request are not in data source:

1. You have to clear the delta queue for data sources under '02' application. Run delta till LUW becomes '0'.

2. Delete the set-up table and fill it.

3. Run a repair full load - update the repair full request only to newly created DSO. once updated drop it from PSA(this request should not be updated to old DSO). So, for new DSO after repair full - delta will be triggered. For the old DSO delta will run as usual.

No need to disturb existing delta and re-initialize..
