error during sales return with reference with billing

dear all i am having this following issue while creating return sales order , with reference to the billing document

Sales organizations deviate from each other. 1000 and/or (reference)

Message no. V2007

Diagnosis

The sales organization of the reference document is not the same as the sales organization of the target document.

Procedure

If you want to add to an existing document by referring to another document, select a reference document with the same sales organization as the target document.

If you want to create a new document by referring to a document, make certain that the sales organization and the document number are correct.

It is very clear from the above comments that the sales area of the original invoice differs from the return sale order. Ensure that it is same as that of the billing document.

thanks everyone actually the reference sales area was wrong in the return sales order

Use tcode OVAO, provide your sales org and Ref. SOrg or vice versa as per your requirement and check.
