What is the use of cost centre category which we will fill in cost centre master data.

The Cost Center Categoury would help you in MIS Reports.

Hi,
it makes sure, that the the activity type is used only by cost centers of the appropriate categories. Refer to F1-help of the field Cost Center Category in KS01/KS02.
