Unable to create automatic inspection lot.

Hi All,

In my case, I need an automatically created inspection lot via GR in order to record the result. So the procedure in this case is first to create a PO, then GR and then tranfer order (LT01), this will create an auto inspection lot. So I created a purchase order (ME21n) for a material XXX in which QM and WM activated. Then while doing GR (MIGO), I am getting an error message " Change the inspection stock of material XXX in QM only" and system is not allowing to do GR. Can you please help me in this issue?.

Hi,

when u did GR (MIGO), system automatically posted QI stock and interim st.type(917-- not sure)

after ud u can release to unrestricted

if in WM---automatic posting change or confirm TO automatically is activated...then no need to do

otherwise u have to confirm via LT12

check with WM consultant to ensure this

Hi Sami,

I could not complete the GR. While doing GR, system is giving the error message " Change the inspection stock of Material XXX in QM only" . So system is not allowing me to do GR.

Hi

Have you activated inspection type 01 in material master?

In WM you may have to put the stock to Unrestricted.Please check with WM consultent about the stock type in PO
