Returnabale Packaging in GATP

Hi Gurus,

How do we handle Returnable Packaging in GATP ? All our material are BOM. We are given to understand that we need to go for enhancement and SAP does not provide any solution for the same.The issue is about the Pricing conditions as well. Is there any way we can explode BoM after we check the Availibility for Returnable Material ?

Hi,

You mean Product or location substitution in case of a Sales BOM for the main item.

It is not possible by standard way to have product substitution first and then BOM explosion in the sales order.

so many reasons,one of them is field VBAP-UEPOS , Higher level item. This field is filled when sub item is created by Rules based ATP and by Sales BOM also.

You will get message "The ATP rules are not called up for item 000010" if you try to have product substitution for a sales BOM item.
