Operation modes for alert sending mails

Hello.

Our Solman 3.2 has been set up to send mail in case of System down. However it sends mail also when the offline backup runs.

Is there a way to define a time table where disabling the send alert during the known downtimes?

what you have set up to send mail also when the offline backup is running??

In my Solman 7.0 I monitor the CCMSPING availability but when I do a backup offline no mail was sent. Any Idea??
