Error During apply SAP_APPL Support Patch

Dear all,

During the applying SAP_APPL Support Patch, I got the following error.

Phase RUN_SPDD_?: Information on objects Modified in System

The ABAP Dictionary objects were imported completely.This means that all imported ABAP Dictionary objects are now available in your system in the shipped original state.

The system detected however that 1 of the ABAP Dictionary objects in teh support packages have been modified in your system.

Check whether you want to retain or restore the changes you have made.

To do this , call transaction SPDD (Choose 'call SPDD').

For more information about performing the modification adjustment, see 'modification adjustment help'.

Note:

If you do not perform a mofication adjustment, all the changes to the objects named in transaction SPDD are lost after dictionary activation.If you have modified tables, this may lead to data being lost.

As the message says, call the transaction SPDD and perform the modification adjustments as required. If you need take help of your abaper.

If you will execute SPDD/SPAU , you will find the object name which need to be modofied.

Just execute tcode first .

Hi Gagan,

I am facing the exact Issue, however i have done from SPDD comparison. all objects are green in SPDD.

But the status of SPAM is still Adjust_Modification.

Can you please suggest what to do. ?

The staus in spam will not change automatically. You need to again start spam --> click on truck button, this will then continue with next phase.

I have done it twice even thrice.. The status is still as it is.

Any other idea or suggestion that i shud take care for this.

M stuck with this issue from last 7 days..

Run the import once again in foreground not in background , you will get continue prompt.

Hi, Once you are done with SPAU, login to SPAM again start the import using the truck icon in dialog mode as in when SPAU screen comes click on call SPAU button > goto the transaction exectute it click on back button you will come back to the promt of SPAU, Click on Confirm adjustment that will automatically proceed sps application.

This is the biggest issue i am facing, I have done all adjustment in SPDD, all components are Green there. dont know why its saying 1 object left in SPAD.

Second: Regarding the SPAU i am stuck on SPDD SPAU is still to come.

Kindly suggest, Resolution will be appriciated.

Dear Gagan, Could you please try locating that object from Se03 tcode - and if you happen to locate it please set the flag status.

If all objects are OK in SPDD, you just need to press "Confirm adjustment" button. Afterwards press Import queue button again and put all further work into background again.

In SPDD, make sure you select blow options

With Modification Assistant

Without Modification Assist

if you expand all the object and find is there any in red (sometime upper level will be green but object may be in RED)

Also in SPAM log you should be able to locate the object which causing the issue.

Hi,

I found below error there in SPAM Logs:

Field KEY: Component type or domain used not active or does not exist

Nametab for table /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____L0001 cannot be generated

I tried to Find out the table but not able to locate...

Any idea about that.. was this deleted ?

You may have 3 system landscape, can you please check into other systems whether you have these tables or not?

Looks like this is known issue.

I got below from

Delete these structures via Tcode SE11.In data type you have to give these table names & you have to delete entries /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____L0001 ,/1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____L0020 which may in turn ask tyou to delete /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____T0020 ,/1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP_____T0001 as well along with /1PYXXFO/SAP_PAYSLIP.

Thanks for your nice suggestion. Atleast i am out from the error i was facing from last one week.

However After rerun now the process is stuck in Test Import phase.

R3TRMSAG00 was repaired in this system

Long Text: -- Object R3TRMSAG00 is in repair status. Therefore, it cannot be imported..

You have transport which has below object and not released.

You have two options.

1) Goto SE03 and execute search for object in Request/Task

and then you will get the transport, release the same.

2) You can directly unlock from SE03 --> Display repaired object. (Which I won't suggest)
