BEx Web Report - Key Figure Values Appears as '*' (Asterisk)

Hi SAP BW Gurus,

I like to know if there is a way to convert key figure values that appears as "*" (Asterisk) into its actual values. This appears when I run a report with different UoM and on a BW Web Report I can't convert the values into numbers. I can do so in BEx Analyzer (Excel).

Appreciate any advice.

Hi there,

Just use the NODIM() formula,

like this:

NODIM(key_figure).

This will work as you expect.

This is because BEx can not decide the UOM of the value which comes after addition of two different UOMs.

Use NODIM() in a formula or calculated key figure. Then it will display you the value, but it will not display any unit.

If you wants to display unit also, then you have to use some alternative unit of measure, so that all the units will convert to one single unit.
