QM Auto checking of batch status

Hi Gurus,

Our client is a Food & Beverage company. They have multiple plants.Now they want that when a material comes in from another plant system should check whether that batch of the material already gone through the QM process in the supplying plant or not.If yes then system should not create any inspection lot and after GR it should posted in unretricted location.

Can you please help me to confgiure this?

The suggested user exits can be used with the logic that if evidence of inspection lot in QALS with reference to same batch exists then material should go to Qi stock.

Hi,

I do not think in standard SAP it is possible to trace it .

In this case u can co ordinate with supplying plant whatever material quality activated in those plant then for same material do not activate quality in reciving plant.
