I created a system connection using the BI SAP Query wizard in EP 6 portal. I did everything in the setup. However, when I test the connection if fails due to SSO issue. Bsed on my experiencing resolving similar issue, I don't think it is an SSO issue. I think that I have the wrong information in the properties.
Connection Prperties
Application Server = sapala.eu.fit
Client = 100 (in backend system R3)
Message Server = sapala.eu.fit (only one application server)
SAP Name = ALA (backend system name, system is double stack on same database)
System Number = 50 (backend system)
What am I missing? How can I trace?
FYI, the solution to this as I was informd by SAP Support, is that the SAP BI Query connection does not use SSO. You must map the user ID to the system connection.

password logon is generally enabled (default)
productive password is still valid (expiration period=0 / days gone=393)
codvn=A => password is case-insensitive (no lower-case characters) and only up to 8 chars long
chckpass: incorrect password (tolerated for RFC system calls - but set marker ...)
save user time zone = > < into spa
DyISigni: return code=1 (see note 320991)
It seems the SAPCPIC password is not in synch. How to resolve this?
