Service short text - checkbox not editable in AC02

Hi,

I want to make the checkbox "Short tx. change allowed" not editable in transaction AC02 .

But, by looking for the bespoke customizing entry, transaction (OXA2), seems I can't change attributes of this field as it's not in the list of customizing fields.

Have I missed something ? How can I change this field in a display field only ?

So, in a question : is it possible to make in uneditable for all services / all users ?

Finally, SAP confirmed us that this checkbox can't be customized.

Hi,

I(t is not in the customizing.

Short text is the one which picks the text from the Activity No. & its Desc. given there while creating the Service master Record.

I don't understand one thing ...

This field allows user to modify short text in purchasing documents using this service.

The short text is always editable in the service master data if we tick off the checkbox, so for me, this field is not a "critical" field and should be customizable ?

this field is not customizable, so you can't change attributes of this field.
