QM03 - change paper format for print notification

Hello,

when printing a notification in QM03, the paper format is set to A4. We want to change it to LTR. Where can we change it?

Hi,

As Per Your post Your using the standard one .

In Standard layout default page format willl be : DINA4

To meet your requirement u have too change the standard one

Not sure what you're asking?

Do you not know the name of the SAPScript or SmartForm? If so, check with your functional consultant for config setting, or check transaction NACE...see if you can find what you're looking for there... Essentially, there will be an output type with a form name (and a program name). If you're using SAP standard, you will need to copy to a Z-version, change that, and have your config specialist point config to the z-version...all that will have to be transported through the instances to production, once you have your format changed to what you want. SAP best practice is to create Z-version of form, leave the driver program as it is.

If you're asking where to change, look at SE71, basic settings for SAPScript, Global Settings>Form Attributes>Output Options tab in SmartForms.

I am kind of familiar with sapscript.

My question is:

When I go to QM03 and select print, I get a list where I can select between different shop papers to print out. I select a shop paper (5010 QM notif overview version 1) and it prints in A4.

I am not sure if this is a SAPscript? If so how can I find out the name?

We don't have any consultants, it is just me.

Hi ,

If you want to findout the list of all notification

Goto- OID1

- give application area as - N

- It will display the all the notification papers

For your requirement -

5010 RQQMUD01 QM_NOTIF_OVERVW1

This the paper driver prog Form name

If u want to do any changes make the Zcopy and change it into meet your requirement .

thanks for your help, that was what I was looking for.

Now I copied the form QM_NOTIF_OVERVW1 to ZQM_NOTIF_OVERVW and I see the Page Format "Dina4" under basic settings. However in change mode the field Page Format is greyed out, so it will not let me change it. Any suggestions?

Hi Anne ,

Your copied the standard form (QM_NOTIF_OVERVW1) to ZQM_NOTIF_OVERVW in original language

After that you have to convert that form into original language (DE to EN(required language )) .

If u change in the original language it is not a problem . (page format will be in enabled only )

Let me check its is not a problem

In the SAPScript or SmartForms design (you may need to resize windows to be sure you fit the page, and use the space well.
