Listing or Product Proposal in sales order

Hi All,

Client requirement:

User need to assign the material for the customer & those materials should be allowed in the sales order. While creating the sales order user want the list of material allowed for that customer.

Solution

I have configured the listing functionality in the sales order. So the materials which are not in the list system will not allow them in the sales order.

Problem

1. Can we have list of material allowed for that customer in the sales order ? (we can use vb03 )

2. If we use item proposal then system should not allow the other material in the sale order.

Hello,

In order to maintain a link between the Listing/Exclusion and VA01 visible at customer, you may:

1. maintain Listing/Exclusion at most specific level, e.g.: customer/material (take as reference A001 - standard listing)

2. if exist more than one Sales organization VKORG DistrChan VTWEG Division SPART, use an A.S. that enable to maintain listing by SalesOrg/DistributionChannel/Division/Customer/Material

3. maintain CMIR (Customer material info record) where you specify the list of products that the customer is allowed to buy and in the customer material field you mention the description of the products

4. when user places an order than in the screen of VA01, user can use the matchcode "sales information - customer material" available in the field customer material number (main screen of VA01)

In this way the user will be able to display the list of products that a specific customer is allowed to buy.

The goal is to use the CMIR as link between the Listing/Exclusion and VA01to make it visible for the user.

In terms of maintainance of this setting, every time that Listing is modified or updated, also the CMIR has to be modfied accordingly.
