EVDRE FORMAT: EVALUATE IN

Former Member

Dear all,

In my EVDRE report, the "evaluate in" doesn't work properly:

KEY="TAXES"

Evaluate in = ALL

format: yellow

apply to: key

-> it's not applying the format in the row key range

KEY="TAXES"

Evaluate in = ROW

format: yellow

apply to: key

-> it's applying the format in the row key range

Why it doesn't work in the first case? ALL means: OR ROW OR COLUMN OR PAGE OR CELL...

Hi,

I would say that there is probably another line in your Format Range that overrides the COLUMN formatting.

The sequence of format is applied in the order you define in the FormatRange table.

Hope this will help.

No the specified format is defined on the last row of the format range.

OK, so instead of using ALL, try without any value (--> blank).

Hope this helps.

Hi again,

It's in fact a bit strange. You can maybe try to use {dim.property}= instead of KEY = "Taxes" (Account.ID = "Taxes") and see if it helps...

Could you reproduce this behavior in ApShell also?

Best Regards,

Hi,

That solution works fine!

So best practice is not to use the KEY syntax in this case...

Thanks!
