Performance of SMARTFORMS vs SAPSCRIPT

Hello all,

have you already experienced performance issue using SMARTFORMS.

At the moment, all our layout are done with SAPSCRIPT and we want now to user SMARTFORM.

Any advice ? remarks ?

Hi Laurent,

I know of no inherent performance disadvantage between SAPscript and Smartforms. Of course with Smartforms it is much easier to include large chunks of inefficient code, but that's down to what you do with it rather than the technology itself.

You might find some pointers on the general merits of smartforms if you search the forum, as well as views on the value of migrating from SAP script to smartforms.
