2EETW000 I have some problems during TADIR access

Hi All,

I have restored the 2000 database backup in 2005 database, the restoration went successfully.

Since its a same SID, I just restored the user using scripts by following note 151603 and ran the scripts also. Then ran the STM tools for the upgrade conversion and everything went successfully.

But my sap instance is not coming up, Inititally its reaching the semaphore 4 status, but slowly all the process are getting ended.

Then I had some initial checks on the database and understand , I had some problems in database. I ensured that we are maintaing the environment variables correctly and also the parameters in default profile.

Result of R3trans -d as follows

Microsoft Windows [Version 5.2.3790]

(C) Copyright 1985-2003 Microsoft Corp.

C:\Documents and Settings\obiadm>hostname

wilg

C:\Documents and Settings\obiadm>r3trans -d

This is r3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - 17.07.08 - 08:11:00).

2EETW000 I have some problems during TADIR access.

r3trans finished (0008).

Actions taken.

Tried with the new updated kernel,

Rebooting the system

But i dont find any improvements on the status. If anyone have any idea on this please let me know

Regards

Vijay

Hello Vijay,

Which SP Stack (e.g. SAP_BASIS) was installed in the SQL Server 2000 database?

I had exactly the same issue while checking R3trans mid OS/DB migration - however found that table TADIR (part of SAPSDIC package) simply wasn't imported yet

Please check the resulting "trans.log" after you executed "R3trans -d".

Hello,

Please check if you have correct SAP kernel in terms of Unicode and non-Unicode.

Kind regards,
