Drill Down ALV in Web Dynpro

Hi Experts,

I am New to Web Dynpro.

I got a requirement to create a screen with a table.

we have to display the Table in a ALV.

ALV is getting displayed.

Now we also have a requirement to make the ALV as drill down , if i select a row other sub rows with respect to the selected row appear below the selected row.

For Eg.

if we have a internal table like -

AA   BB  BC
AA   CC  CD
AA   DD  DD

we slect the 1st row. and sub rows of the firlst row should get displayed just below it --

AA BB  BC
   B1  BC
   B2  BC
   B3  BC
AA  CC  CD
AA  DD  DD.

i am aware abt above functionality can be achived by TABLE UI of web dynpro.

but i am tring to do the same using ALV.

Please help.

I hope you find your answer. You are describing a TABLE POPIN, and near as I can tell, it is not available for ALVs.

I am in fact getting ready to change and Editable ALV table to a regular Table control for that very reason.

It is possible using ALV too.

So how did you add the POPIN to the ALV?
