What is Default values in Bex Query designer?

In the Query Designer the default values are the selection values which appear in the variables automatically for

which you can run the query. Also, if you want to run the query for any other values you can select the values from the

list.

Hi Vijaya Lakshmi,

We usually define default values because we run the report frequently based on those values.

So the user does not want to enter the values whenever he wants to run the report and as a result the user can save his time.

It is defined in the Variables.

You can also run the query based on other values.

It saves time, thats it.
