Dear Gurus,
I'm inspecting using material specifications, I need to record multiple results for the same characteristic, for example using inspection points or whatever the way is.
In the material specs, in the detail screen of the MIC, there was a field for assigning procedures with free inspection points, I tried it but it didn't work.
Is there a way for doing so (away from using task lists) ?
Regards,
MaX
there is no provision to enter the Inspection points in Material Specs

Sure. Set the MIC as individual results recording and specify how many results are to be recorded for it using the sampling procedure.
Do you then report the average of these results? If you are batch managed the average of these are transferred to the batch. In the COA you can report the average as well as the individual values.
To use inspection points you must use an inspection plan with your material specs. You specify that you want to use inspection points in the header of the plan. Add in the same MICS into the plan as used in the material spec. Do not unlock them. In the material master, specify to inspection with material spec and task list.
