SAP Logon problem, with mini Basis - ABAP Objects

Hello,

I'm newbie here.

My first question is, how do get to SAPNet so to get

the developer key for SAP mini basis wich comes

with "ABAP Objects" book.

Second question:

I hope I'm posting this at the right place, if not that

direct me to some other group...

I bought book "ABAP Objects", which comes with mini Basis.

I installed it on Window 2003 server operating system.

The installation was smooth.

Now, first I would start SAP MBS by double clicking the icon. It

starts.

Then I created a new logon in SAP Logon, with the following Properties:

Description: my sap logon

Application Server: SAPVB (this is name of the computer)

SAP System: R/3

System Number: 00

Then, I click on the "Logon" button, and after waiting of around 45

seconds,

the message box pops up with the message:

SAP system message:

"Work process re-started, session terminated

Try reconnect? "

Here are few of the messages in Event Viewier for Applications:

(this first error message comes only immediatelly after restarting

computer, and before starting SAP MBS):

Faulting application disp+work.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module

disp+work.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000c6f92.

Second error message:

The description for Event ID ( 42 ) in Source ( Sapgui ) cannot be

found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry

information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote

computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this

description; see Help and Support for details. The following

information is part of the event: partner not reached (host SAPVB,

hopefully they can help me to get developer key.

Ensure that the database has been started. For example, my MBS is installed w/SQL server - If you click START SAP MBS without starting the server/db the message you're seeing will be generated
