can smartform be used for print in Webdynpro abap on Portal ?

we have to give up pdf for some reason, can smartforms be called in Webdynpro abap on portal ? any example?

Please try to search.

Use the following search string: How to Display a Smartform as PDF document in Web Dynpro for ABAP

now that will tell you how to do most of what you want - I won't post the link to the article here as I think it would be a valuable lesson for you to learn how to use the search functionality of SCN.
