Hi,

In MIGO itself you are doing Part 1 Capture so again you no need to capture excise inv in J1IEX. Just make entry for Posting alone in J1IEX with internal / vendor excise invoice.

You do not have the option of using 'Only part1' in MIGO for imports.

it is absolutely mandatory that you capture the EI first for imports either at MIGO itself or at J1IEX before you do MIGO_GR. DO NOT use the option 'only part1" for imports.

Please adopt corrected steps to capture & post excise in import process.

1. Create p.o,capture customs/excise duties in p.o from bill of exchange.

2.Create customs miro from purchase order using planned delivery option.

3.Capture excise using J1IEX referring customs invoice no. & year.

4. Do migo,in it select option refer excise invoice only or when you enter vendor excise no. & date, option will automatically

change to refer excise invoice.

5.Finally post excise invoice using J1IEX with reference to vendor excise invoice no.

6. Create invoice for orginal vendor.

Please check for your GRN if Excise capture has been done?

Chek with report J1I7.

Whether system has generated Excise document no.?

Hi,

Go to path

SPRO- LOGST. GENRAL-TAX ON GOOD MOVEMENT-INDIA-MAINTAIN EXCISE GRP-

In MIGO Setting remove tick post EI in MIGO tick EI capthure.

so at time of gr only Capthure Excise Duty is posssible.

hi,

Against the excise group settings , you selct the option of EI capture alone ,dont flag the option of post EI in migo.

EI Capture option will allow you to capture the part1 and the excise value.

then it can be posted in j1iex trx.

if you select the above option you have the option like

1.only capture invoice

2.only refer invoice

3.only part1

4.No excise entry

Select from the options needed by you.

velu
