Anonymous doesn't work!

Hello,

i want to show created contents on homepage for everyone without signing on. If i click a document for showing the content the authentification pops up and i have to put the username and password. I tried to do anonymous but the authentifiction still pops up. Does anyone have an idea, how can i fix this problem?

Without configuring the PCD standard user role for anonymous access it won't work: standard user -> home -> hidden: the KM iViews.

Our version is still 6.0 so we did not have a Web Page Composer und there is no download for SAP Netweaver 6.0 available! So i did not do step 2 but anyway, now it works, thank you very much for your help:)

Mention what are the steps you did to expose content to anonymous users such that we can tell missing steps.

Also How to configure an anonymous access to KM:

First: created iview with authentification: anonymous and path link to folder, i had already created.

Second: created page with authentification: anonymous, added delta link to that iview.

Third: created role with authentification: anonymous, was added delta link by that page.

Forth: Added role to Anonymous Group.

Fifth: configured permission and service permission of folder for user anonymous

So that was i did.

After put the URL: km...../portal/anonymous, i tried to open a documents--> authentification pops up....

I did not know why....

Can anyone help me? Thank alot

Hi,

Instead of page, try creating a workset which will have KM navigation iView and workset inturn assign to a role.

In this approach you need to change the authentication scheme to anonymous only for iView, workset and role doesn't have this property at all.

Try using this approach.
