Unable to connect loccal FTP from XI

Hi I have gone thru the good doc provided by Sabarish using GuildFTP and configured in the same way, but I am getting the below error at RWMB comm channel monitoring-

An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server '9.77.199.163:21'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: The control connection to the FTP server 9.77.199.163 timed out while reading the server reply.'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor.

under c:/ftproot I have created the source folder as OUT and given the source directory in XI file adapter as

/OUT.

earlier it was showing the below error-

'9.77.212.187:21'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 520 Control connection prematurely closed by server'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor.

Later I have given the time out parameter.

Suggata,

Which kind of FTP you have? Change /OUT directory by home/OUT. It should be something like /ftproot/OUT
