send external mail during eMail step

Hello,

is it possible to send an eMail to Outlook using the eMail step in a work flow?

Until now we are only able to send the mail into the business workplace.

We want not to be informend about new work items in Outlook we only want to send a mail to an external receiver (Outlook) using the the eMail step of an work.

Hi,

You can send an email using the send mail step in SAP workflow. But, if you furnish more details about the requirement you have in hand, probably we will be able to throw some light.

HI,

Yes, you can send a email to the external mail address other than the SAP inbox, For that all you have to do is select the EMAIL ADDRESS in the receipient type and specify the email ID. And before that you have to make sure that all you SCOT settings are perfect. Once you are sure that the SCOT settings are fine then you can see the mails in the SOST txn.
