Create documents from PS module using PPM?

I'd like the functionality to create a document from a template in the Project Systems module similar to how CG42 can create Product Safety documents using WWI.

Does this currently exist for PS - would I need to use PPM? If so, what is the overall process?

Hi Gabie,

basically this would be possible, but it would mean a lot of custom development. WWI interfaces currently only exist in the EHS environment.

Hi Gabie,

As Christian mentioned this would require alot of custom dev. However if you have Adobe Smart Forms, you can have custom designed outputs using PS data. The down side is this is a seperate app.

If you have PPM you can also use forms in that but are limited to what PS data is mapped and available. You can always write an ABAP report that outputs in Word.
