Add fields to Item Overview structure MEPO1211

We need to populate additional SAP fields (such as IDNLF or Vendor Article Number) to the ITEM OVERVIEW layout (structure MEPO1211).

These additional field, are standard SAP fields already on the ITEM DETAIL tabs of the PO enjoy transactions (ME21N/ME22N/ME23N).

Does anyone know a method to include these item level fields to the existing structure so that they are available in the ALV layout mentioned above?

Is there anything additional requiored so that the fast change functionality continues to work for these new fields?

Hello, Jim,

bad news -- there's is no simple/fast/easy method how to do it; as the MEPO1211 doesn't have any customer include, and the item overview screen is not ALV (filled dynamically from source structure), but table control (with fixedly defined screen with columns), you will have to to all of this as system modification (e.g. no user-exit, badi nor enhancement will help you there); that's why consultants usually try to talk their customer out of this requirement.
