Use Kpro or Vault for .cad documents?

Hi All!

I would like to know, how the best way to storage .cad documents through DMS, Kpro or Vault?

I didn't get to understand what the really difference between this two ways.

In Kpro I use the web like front end, and vault I use SAP? It is right?!

Hi ,

Use K-pro. Install a separate content server for CAD drawing and install ECL viewer 6.0 with patch for displaying these files.

Best way is to store the CAD docments in to DMS using the Kpro.

Kpro is the architecture behind content management in SAP. Vault can refere to any storage area, external or internal.
